Steady persistence in adhering to a course of action, a belief, or a purpose. Continued steady belief or efforts, withstanding discouragement or difficulty.
Heb 10:36 says, " You need to continue, so that when you have done what God wants, you will receive what he has promised. (message bible)
The new life we can have in Jesus is not something that we can ever earn. It is the free gift of God to all who trust in Jesus. Our part is to maintain our *faith, even when life is hard. We must always try to do what God wants. Then we shall receive what God has promised.
God is faithful and we must remain faithful. He never said life was not going to be hard. That is why He gives us a book full of His promises to help us through any trial that may come. He will never give us too much to handle because everything He gives us, He knows we can handle it. He is our Creator and He created us in His image. And He knows everything little thing about us and even some of the things we don't know. And to top it off...HE LOVES US UNCONDITIONALLY!! So how can you not trust Him?
I have told you all many times and every time I see you, that you all have a divine purpose. This is processing time. Processing time does not always feel good because God is removing and repairing. And when He removes He always replace it with something that will help us fulfill His purpose and to allow others to see who He is thru us. The areas that He repairs are areas that are suppose to be there but life may have damaged it to the point that we may see it as being useless. Nothing God makes is useless...it is all GOOD. The one thing you may think is not worthy is probably the main thing that will be used the most.
Don't allow life or situations to make you feel you can't go any further. It is not your job to figure it out...you just need to have faith to know you are in the right place at the right time and God will do the rest. You are all emerging leaders and you all will be great examples of what perseverance looks like!!
